What history can teach us about the changes to legalization is amazing.
Let's look at how Canada dealt with the end of alcohol prohibition in the 1920. The legalization of alcohol lead to a handful of Beer Baron's being in control of the entire industry. The main players in the beer side of alcohol were Molson's, Labatts and Carling O'Keeke. There was NO craft beers allowed in Canada (they were illegal) until the 1980's!
Today some of the finest beers in Canada are made by local craft growers.
This is the same premise as we are seeing with the forthcoming legalization of marijuana. The government may award all licenses to a handful of Big Bud corporate manufacturers.
